How to Fish It

Thread the bait straight onto a small ball jig head, keeping the body joint and tail clear of the hook. Start with a slow, steady retrieve and check that the bait tracks straight. Adjust jig weight and countdown time to reach your target depth, then try brief pauses or gentle speed changes.

For a hover rig, match the hook and nail weight to the small body and test the bait's balance beside the boat or bank. Use subtle movements and controlled slack rather than hard snaps. On a drop shot, position the bait above the weight and alternate light shakes with pauses. Check the head and alignment after each fish, and avoid oversized hooks that restrict the tail's movement.
