How to Fish It

Match the small bait to light tackle and check that your setup leaves the hook point clear. Start with gentle lifts or short shakes, then pause to let fish approach. Avoid overpowering the 1-inch presentation with large rod movements.

Try adding a small grub as a tip, keeping it clear of the hook point. Adjust the depth and pause length before making bigger changes to the presentation. Watch the line for subtle movement, reel into contact on a bite, and use a controlled hookset suited to your tackle. Keep the extra bodies handy for replacing a worn or damaged body.
