Favorite Fishing White Bird Casting Combo 7'2" Heavy

A 7'2" Heavy Rod with Your Choice of Retrieve

The Favorite Fishing White Bird Casting Combo pairs the WBRC-721H casting rod with a White Bird 6.4:1 casting reel. Choose left- or right-hand retrieve to match the way you fish.

The 7'2" rod has heavy power and fast action, with a 3/8–1 1/2 oz lure rating and a 14–25 lb line rating. Use those ranges to choose your complete presentation and line, rather than relying on the heavy-power label alone.

Setting Up Your Combo

Secure the reel in the reel seat and thread the line through every guide. Select line within the rod's 14–25 lb rating and keep the combined weight of your lure, hooks, and added weight within its 3/8–1 1/2 oz range. The reel's capacity figure describes spool capacity, not the rod's recommended line range.

Set the drag for your line and adjust the reel's casting controls before fishing. Start with short practice casts and use your thumb to control the spool as the presentation lands. Recheck your settings when changing presentation weight or casting conditions.
