WM Bayou Bone Thug | Soft Plastic Paddle Tail Swimbait for Bass

The WM Bayou Bone Thug is a baitfish-profile paddle-tail swimbait hand-poured in Houston, Texas. Its thumping paddle tail creates vibration that bass feel from distance — making it a top search bait for covering water and triggering reaction strikes. Built to imitate shad, shiners, and white perch. Includes a through-line tube for weedless or through-line rigging. Designed to float; hook choice, weight, and rigging determine the final presentation. Available in 11 colors.

How to Fish the Bone Thug

This is a power fishing tool — cover water, find active bass, trigger reactions. Vary your retrieve speed: start fast and slow down until you find what fish want. Works equally well burning over grass, slow-rolling along bottom, or hopping it on a jighead. Wind in your retrieve for a more natural action.

Recommended Rigs

Swimbait / keel hook — steady retrieve or slow roll near bottom (weedless)
Through-line rig — use the included through-line tube for an open-hook swimming presentation
Jighead — ideal for deeper structure or hopping along bottom

Best Conditions

Shad spawn (spring) — burning it near the surface in shallow flats
Fall baitfish migrations — fast retrieve when bass are schooling on open water
Clear to slightly stained water with active, feeding fish
Grass flats, points, ledges, and open water
