Yo-Zuri Floating Mag Minnow Jr

The Yo-Zuri Floating Mag Minnow Jr is a 90mm / 3-1/2" floating minnow lure with a patented Magnetic Weight Transfer System that shifts internal weights to the tail on the cast for straight, distance-maximizing casts even in crosswinds. On the retrieve, the weights return forward and the lure swims with a tight, natural wiggling action. Available in five colors: Bone, Bronze, Black Back, Double White, and Pearl Red Head.

How to Fish It

• Slow steady retrieve — The Mag Minnow Jr is most productive on a slow, steady retrieve that keeps the lure in its tight wiggling action. A consistent pace lets the bait work through the water column just below the surface.
• Twitch and pause — Work with a twitch-pause cadence to trigger strikes from fish that are following but not committing. The pause lets the lure suspend momentarily before the next twitch.
• Freshwater and saltwater — Effective on a range of species in both environments. In saltwater, targets striped bass, bluefish, and inshore species. In freshwater, works on bass and other gamefish where a realistic minnow profile is effective.
