The Yo-Zuri Hydro Popper is a compact topwater lure with an extra-wide mouth that throws a large splash as you work it across the surface. Its casting-oriented weighting helps you reach feeding fish from the surf or boat.
A polycarbonate body, through-wire construction, 3X strong treble hooks, and heavy-duty split rings make up its hardware and construction. Use it for surface presentations to striped bass, bluefish, jack crevalle, and roosterfish from shore, or tuna and dorado from a boat.

How to Fish It
Cast beyond likely holding water or surface activity, then take up slack. Use a short, firm rod-tip pull to make the wide mouth pop and splash, reel up the slack, and pause before repeating. Start with single pops and pauses, then try quicker sequences when fish are chasing bait aggressively.
Keep enough slack between pulls to let the lure work without dragging it continuously. If a fish misses, pause briefly before resuming the retrieve. Wait until you feel the fish's weight before applying steady pressure. Match the lure weight and tackle to your target fish, handle the trebles carefully, and rinse the lure with fresh water after saltwater use.
