The Yo-Zuri Mag Speed is a sinking minnow lure engineered for maximum casting distance and a fast, controlled sink rate. The magnetic weight transfer system moves weight to the tail during the cast for aerodynamic efficiency, then shifts to the belly on the retrieve to restore a tight, realistic swimming action. Through-wire construction with extra-strength saltwater treble hooks and split rings handles the most demanding inshore and nearshore conditions. Available in 3 sizes and 6 color patterns.

How to Fish It

• Straight retrieve — Cast as far as possible and retrieve at a steady pace just below the surface. The lure's minnow profile and tight wobble imitate baitfish and draw strikes from striped bass, bluefish, Spanish mackerel, and weakfish.
• Jerk and pause — Work the rod with sharp downward twitches and pauses to produce a darting, wounded baitfish action. Let the lure sink briefly on the pause — most strikes come here.
• Long-range situations — The magnetic casting system gives this lure exceptional distance, making it ideal for reaching distant rips, schools busting on the surface, or surf fishing where distance is critical.
