The Yo-Zuri Ultra Bait Squid Jig combines an internal holographic prism finish with glow-in-the-dark accents. Its balanced body and swivel line tie let it move as you lift and lower the rig, giving you a controlled presentation when searching for squid at different depths.

Choose the super slow-sinking A1681 or sinking A1683 to suit your presentation. Both feature an ABS resin body, lifelike eyes, and sharp hooks.

How to Fish It

Fish a single jig or arrange multiple jigs on spaced droppers above a lead sinker. Keep the droppers separated enough to limit tangles, and choose a sinker that lets you control the rig at your intended depth.

Lower to the depth you want to search, then use gentle lifts followed by controlled drops and pauses. Work different levels of the water column until you locate squid. When you feel weight, lift smoothly and maintain steady tension rather than making a hard hookset. Handle the hooks carefully, and rinse and dry the jigs after saltwater use.
