Z-Man Bang StickZ 5.75-Inch Stick Worm

The Z-Man Bang StickZ is a 5.75-inch stick worm with four slender tail appendages that respond to subtle rod movement. Its buoyant ElaZtech material lifts the tails off the bottom at rest, giving you a finesse presentation that does not need constant hopping or dragging.

Designed for Neko rigging, Bang StickZ also works on a shaky head, Texas rig, Carolina rig, or drop shot. The durable body can be hooked wacky-style without an O-ring, and each pack contains six baits.

How to Fish It

For a Neko rig, fit a suitable weight into the head end and hook the body wacky-style, leaving the tail appendages free. Use rigging components compatible with ElaZtech and match the complete rigged weight to your rod. Let the bait reach bottom, then work it with small shakes and pauses rather than large sweeps.

On a shaky head or Texas rig, thread the body straight and make sure the hook can clear the bait when you set it. Drag or lift the rig a short distance, pause, and let the buoyant tails rise. A Carolina rig offers another way to move the bait behind a separate weight.

For a drop shot, position the hook above the weight at a height suited to the bottom and cover. Use light rod-tip movement to animate the bait without constantly moving the sinker. Watch the line during pauses, recover slack, and use a hookset suited to your hook arrangement.

Storage and Care

Store Bang StickZ in their original packaging, separate from conventional soft plastics and incompatible tackle materials. Avoid excessive heat and prolonged contact with other lure materials. Check the body around hook and weight entry points after fishing, and replace damaged rigging as needed.
