Z-MAN Chatterbait 1/2 oz. – Fire Craw

Z-MAN Chatterbait 1/2 oz. – Fire Craw

The Z-MAN Chatterbait is the original bladed jig that started a revolution in bass fishing. The 1/2 oz. model is the go-to for deeper water, faster retrieves, and windy conditions where you need extra weight to stay in the strike zone.

Key Features

• 1/2 oz. weight — ideal for deeper water, faster retrieves, and windy conditions on medium to medium-heavy baitcasting gear
• Signature ChatterBait hex blade — creates the iconic thump, vibration, and flash that no other bladed jig can replicate
• Sharp, quality hook — excellent hookup ratio right out of the package
• Fire Craw skirt — a bold orange/red crawfish-inspired color that triggers aggressive reaction strikes in stained water and is deadly during the crawfish spawn
• Versatile — burn it near the surface, slow-roll along the bottom, or yo-yo through mid-depth cover

How to Fish It

Cast on medium-heavy baitcasting gear and slow-roll through rocky points, grass edges, and laydowns. Outstanding in spring and early summer when bass are aggressively feeding on crawfish. Pair with a red/orange or Fire Craw-colored Z-MAN swimbait trailer for a fully natural crawfish presentation.
