Z-MAN ChatterBait Elite EVO 3/8oz Chart/White

Z-MAN ChatterBait Elite EVO | 3/8 oz | Chart/White | Premium EVO Bladed Jig | High-Visibility Shad Reaction Color for All-Conditions Bass Fishing, Stained Water & Grass Lakes

The Z-MAN ChatterBait Elite EVO in 3/8 oz Chart/White delivers the EVO blade system’s proven vibration in the most versatile, all-conditions high-visibility shad reaction color — the chartreuse/white combination that produces bites across the widest range of water clarity, light conditions, and forage situations of any color in the bladed jig lineup. Chart/White is the bladed jig color that works everywhere: in stained water, the chartreuse component cuts through color filtering to maintain high contrast at depth; in clear water, the white base provides a bright, high-visibility shad imitation with the flash that triggers reaction strikes from bass keying on baitfish; in variable or transitional light, the combined chartreuse/white profile maintains high visibility across the full range from overcast to bright sun. At 3/8 oz, the Elite EVO Chart/White covers the core shallow-to-mid-depth applications — grass flats, stained-water points, shad-rich back bays, and open-water edges in the 2–8 foot zone — in an accessible lead-head package that makes fishing the most productive all-conditions bladed jig color practical for every angler on every body of water.

Key Features

• EVO Blade — High-Visibility Flash — the EVO blade’s consistent, optimized oscillation amplifies the Chart/White profile’s flash output on every retrieve stroke; the EVO blade’s consistent frequency produces the reliable tick-and-flash combination that distinguishes the EVO platform, with the chartreuse/white profile’s high reflectivity maximizing flash output at the EVO blade’s optimized oscillation frequency; in the stained-water and variable-light conditions where Chart/White is most versatile, the EVO blade’s consistent flash production maintains reliable visual stimulus throughout the retrieve at varying depths and angles
• Chart/White Color — All-Conditions High-Visibility Coverage — chartreuse/white high-visibility shad reaction profile; the chartreuse component provides maximum visible-light contrast in stained, murky, and low-light conditions where blue/green wavelengths filter out first, leaving the chartreuse’s yellow/green spectrum as the most visible color remaining; the white base provides a bright, reflective shad imitation in clearer water and higher-light conditions where natural baitfish flash triggers reaction strikes; combined, the Chart/White profile covers the widest range of water clarity and light conditions of any single color in the Elite EVO lineup — the default color choice when conditions are uncertain, variable, or unknown
• 3/8 oz — All-Conditions Shallow Versatility — the core weight for the widest range of shallow-to-mid-depth applications where Chart/White’s versatile profile produces; covers the 2–8 foot zone across grass flats, stained-water points, shad-rich back bays, and open-water edges; the correct weight for the broadest range of bladed jig fishing situations from the shallowest grass and pad-edge applications through the mid-depth stained-water points and main-lake transitions where Chart/White’s all-conditions profile is most productive
• Lead Head Value — All-Conditions Coverage at Accessible Price — EVO blade performance in a lead-head package; ideal for the high-volume, systematic coverage that all-conditions Chart/White fishing requires; the Elite EVO’s accessible price point makes fishing the most productive versatile bladed jig color throughout the day and across multiple bodies of water practical for any budget

How to Fish It

• Stained-Water Grass Flats — Default Choice — the primary 3/8 oz Chart/White application; retrieve across and along stained-water grass flats in 2–6 feet; the chartreuse component cuts through the stained-water color filtering to maintain high contrast at depth; the EVO blade’s consistent flash amplifies the chartreuse/white profile’s visibility in the stained water; the most productive single color for systematic stained-water grass flat coverage when the most productive specific color is unknown
• Shad-Rich Back Bays — Reaction Coverage — retrieve across shallow shad-rich back bays and creek arms in 2–5 feet; the white base matches the threadfin and gizzard shad that concentrate in back-bay systems throughout the warm-water months; the chartreuse accent provides the reaction-color trigger that draws bass from the widest lateral range in the stained-to-clear back-bay water; burn the bait at moderate-to-fast speed to cover the maximum amount of productive back-bay flat area efficiently
• Stained-Water Points — Variable Conditions — retrieve along stained-water main-lake points and secondary structure in 4–8 feet on days with variable or uncertain light; the Chart/White profile maintains high visibility across the full range from overcast to bright sun; the chartreuse component is at its most effective on the stained-water face of the point and the white base covers the clearer-water transition at the point tip; the all-conditions profile eliminates the need for color changes as light conditions shift throughout the day
• Open-Water Grass Edges — Fast Coverage — burn the 3/8 oz Chart/White along the open-water edges of grass flats at fast retrieve speeds in 3–6 feet; the EVO blade’s consistent oscillation at fast retrieve speeds amplifies the Chart/White flash output; the high-visibility profile triggers reaction strikes from bass holding on the grass edge in the reaction zone; the fastest, most aggressive retrieve that maintains the EVO blade’s consistent vibration is the most productive approach for open-water grass-edge Chart/White fishing
