Z-MAN ChatterBait Elite EVO 3/8oz Electric Shad

Z-MAN ChatterBait Elite EVO | 3/8 oz | Electric Shad | Premium EVO Bladed Jig | UV-Enhanced Shad Color for Shallow Grass, Overcast Conditions & Transitional-Light Bass

The Z-MAN ChatterBait Elite EVO in 3/8 oz Electric Shad delivers the EVO blade system’s proven vibration and Z-MAN’s UV-enhanced Electric Shad profile to the core shallow grass, pad-edge, and mid-depth overcast applications where the 3/8 oz weight class is most productive. Electric Shad’s UV-enhanced pearl/blue/chartreuse profile is the broadest-condition shad color in the lineup: the natural shad base matches threadfin shad at close range in the 2–8 foot zone where the 3/8 oz is most effective, while the UV-enhanced elements extend the bait’s attraction range in the overcast, dawn/dusk, and lightly stained conditions that are the primary environments for productive shallow grass and mid-depth bladed jig fishing. The Elite EVO’s accessible lead-head package puts the EVO blade’s consistent vibration and Electric Shad’s all-conditions UV-enhanced shad profile in reach at a price point that encourages systematic coverage of the grass flats, stained-water edges, and overcast-day environments where Electric Shad’s dual natural/UV profile is most effective.

Key Features

• EVO Blade — Shallow UV Flash — the EVO blade’s consistent, optimized oscillation activates the Electric Shad’s UV-enhanced elements with maximum efficiency on every retrieve stroke in the 2–8 foot zone where the 3/8 oz is most effective; the EVO blade’s consistent frequency produces the reliable tick-and-flash combination at the retrieve speeds appropriate for shallow grass and mid-depth fishing; in the overcast and diffuse-light conditions where UV-enhanced colors are most effective, the EVO blade’s consistent flash output activates the Electric Shad’s UV elements with every oscillation
• Electric Shad Color — UV-Enhanced All-Conditions Shad — UV-enhanced pearl/blue/chartreuse baitfish profile; the natural shad base matches threadfin shad at close range in clear water while the UV-enhanced elements extend the bait’s attraction range in overcast, dawn/dusk, and lightly stained shallow-water conditions where UV wavelengths penetrate the water column more effectively than visible-spectrum natural colors; the broadest single-color coverage in the 3/8 oz lineup — the Electric Shad covers clear-water sunny conditions through heavy overcast in the shallow-to-mid-depth zone without requiring a color change; the correct single color when conditions are variable or when maximum single-color versatility in the 3/8 oz weight is the priority
• 3/8 oz — Shallow Grass & Overcast Coverage — the core weight for the shallow grass, pad-edge, and mid-depth overcast applications where Electric Shad’s UV-enhanced profile is most productive; rides above the grass canopy at moderate retrieve speeds in the 2–8 foot zone; maintains the correct depth on the overcast-day mid-depth flats and secondary points where the UV-enhanced shad profile produces most consistently; the correct weight for the widest range of shallow-to-mid-depth Electric Shad applications from the shallowest overcast-day grass fishing through the mid-depth transitional-light edges
• Lead Head Value — UV Shad at Accessible Price — EVO blade performance in a lead-head package; ideal for covering the grass flats, overcast-day edges, and variable-condition environments where Electric Shad’s all-conditions UV profile is most productive; the Elite EVO’s accessible price point makes fishing the broadest-condition shad color throughout the day and across multiple conditions practical for any budget

How to Fish It

• Overcast Grass Flats — UV Activation — the primary 3/8 oz Electric Shad application; retrieve across and along shallow grass flats in 2–6 feet on overcast days; the Electric Shad’s UV elements are fully activated by diffuse overcast light in the shallow zone where the 3/8 oz is most effective; maintain moderate retrieve speed to keep the EVO blade ticking consistently through the grass; the UV-enhanced profile attracts bass from greater lateral distance than a strictly natural shad color in the diffuse overcast light conditions
• Dawn & Dusk Shallow Edges — in the transitional-light windows at dawn and dusk when UV wavelengths activate the Electric Shad’s enhanced elements at maximum intensity; retrieve across shallow grass edges, pad lines, and secondary points in 2–5 feet; the 3/8 oz maintains the correct depth at the slower transitional-light retrieve speeds; the UV-enhanced profile’s extended attraction range draws transitional bass from the wider depth range they cover as they move shallow to feed
• Lightly Stained Water — UV Supplement — in lightly stained water where the natural shad profile’s close-range visual accuracy is supplemented by the UV elements’ extended-range attraction; retrieve along grass edges and secondary points in 3–7 feet; the Electric Shad’s UV enhancement extends the bait’s attraction range beyond what the stained water’s reduced visibility allows for a strictly natural shad color; the EVO blade’s vibration provides the lateral-line stimulus that reaches bass beyond the Electric Shad’s UV visual range in the stained water
• Variable Conditions — All-Day Coverage — on days where light and clarity are shifting throughout the session; the Electric Shad’s UV enhancement bridges the full range from clear-water sun through heavy overcast without requiring a color change; the 3/8 oz covers the widest range of shallow-to-mid-depth Electric Shad situations from the shallowest grass through the mid-depth secondary structure; the all-conditions single-color choice for anglers targeting the 2–8 foot zone across variable daily conditions
