Z-MAN ChatterBait Elite EVO 3/8oz White

Z-MAN ChatterBait Elite EVO | 3/8 oz | White | Premium EVO Bladed Jig | Pure Flash Shad Color for Clear-Water Grass, Schooling Bass & Bright-Sun Shallow Baitfish Presentations

The Z-MAN ChatterBait Elite EVO in 3/8 oz White delivers the EVO blade system’s proven vibration in the purest, highest-flash natural shad color in the lineup — the clean white baitfish profile that produces in clear water, bright sun, and the schooling shad situations where maximum flash without added chartreuse is the correct color choice. White is the clear-water, bright-sun bladed jig color: in clear shallow lakes and reservoir systems with good visibility, the pure white profile mimics the most accurate color of threadfin and gizzard shad from below in bright-light conditions, producing the reflective, high-flash appearance that triggers reaction strikes from bass tracking baitfish from below and behind. Where Chart/White’s chartreuse accent adds high-visibility contrast for stained water, pure White’s clean flash profile is the correct choice when bass can see the bait clearly and are making forage-match decisions in bright-light clear-water conditions. At 3/8 oz, the Elite EVO White covers the shallow grass flats, clear-water main-lake points, and open-water schooling situations in the 2–8 foot zone — in an accessible lead-head package that makes fishing the purest shad flash color throughout the clear-water season practical for every angler.

Key Features

• EVO Blade — Maximum White Flash — the EVO blade’s consistent, optimized oscillation amplifies the White profile’s flash output on every retrieve stroke; the pure white’s high reflectivity combined with the EVO blade’s consistent oscillation frequency produces the maximum clean-flash output available in the 3/8 oz Elite EVO lineup; in the bright-sun clear-water conditions where White is most effective, the EVO blade’s consistent flash cadence mimics the erratic, startled movement of a shad attempting to escape — the behavior that triggers the reflex reaction strikes from clear-water bass tracking baitfish schools
• White Color — Pure Shad Flash in Clear Water — pure white baitfish-imitating profile; the cleanest, highest-flash natural shad color in the 3/8 oz Elite EVO lineup; in clear water with good visibility and bright sun, the white profile mimics the belly and side coloration of threadfin shad as viewed from below in direct sunlight; the absence of chartreuse or other accent colors makes White the most naturalistic-looking shad imitation in the lineup in clear, well-lit water — the color choice when bass in clear shallow water are making close-range forage-match decisions rather than reacting to contrast or UV stimulus
• 3/8 oz — Clear-Water Shallow Flash Versatility — the core weight for the shallow clear-water applications where White’s pure flash profile is most productive; covers the 2–8 foot zone across clear-water grass flats, main-lake points, and open-water baitfish-school edges where White’s naturalistic shad profile produces most consistently; the 3/8 oz rides above the grass canopy in shallow clear-water systems and maintains the correct depth along main-lake points at the moderate retrieve speeds where White’s flash output is maximized
• Lead Head Value — Clear-Water Flash at Accessible Price — EVO blade performance in a lead-head package; ideal for the systematic coverage of clear-water grass flats, open-water points, and schooling baitfish situations where White’s pure flash profile is most productive; the Elite EVO’s accessible price point makes fishing the purest shad flash color through the full range of clear-water shallow situations throughout the day practical for any budget

How to Fish It

• Clear-Water Grass Flats — Bright Sun — the primary 3/8 oz White application; retrieve across and along shallow clear-water grass flats in 2–6 feet on bright sunny days; the pure white flash mimics the shad coloration that clear-water bass key on in direct sunlight; the EVO blade’s consistent oscillation produces the maximum clean-flash output at moderate retrieve speeds; burn the bait at moderate-to-fast speed to maximize the EVO blade’s flash output in the clear water
• Schooling Bass — Open-Water Baitfish — when bass are visibly schooling on shad in the 2–6 foot zone on shallow clear-water flats and main-lake points; cast into or beyond the schooling activity and burn White back through the baitfish school; the pure white flash blends with the shad school and triggers reaction strikes from the bass attacking from below and behind; the 3/8 oz maintains the correct shallow depth at the fast retrieve speeds that schooling-bass situations require
• Clear Main-Lake Points — Bright-Day Shad Match — retrieve along clear-water main-lake points and flat edges in 3–7 feet on bright sunny days; the pure white profile is the most accurate single color for the shad that concentrate on clear main-lake points in direct sunlight; the EVO blade’s consistent flash at the point depth mimics the erratic shad movement that triggers strikes from bass holding on the point face in bright-light conditions
• Postspawn Shallow Clear Flats — Shad Spawn — in the post-spawn and early summer period when shad are spawning on shallow clear-water flats and bass are actively feeding on the concentrated baitfish; the 3/8 oz White covers the shallow shad-spawn flats in 2–4 feet at the fast retrieve speeds that imitate fleeing shad; the pure white flash matches the spawning shad’s coloration in clear water at close range; the most productive single color for the concentrated, aggressive feeding activity of the shad-spawn flat situation
