Z-Man ChatterBait Mini 1/4 oz Bladed Jig
The Z-Man ChatterBait Mini gives you a compact skirted bladed jig when a smaller presentation fits the water you're fishing. At 1/4 ounce, it offers vibration and an irregular swimming motion for working ponds, canals, and streams with light tackle.
Its blade is sized between the ChatterBait Micro and Original models. Reach for the Mini when you want to downsize in clear water or try a finesse approach without giving up a vibrating, moving-bait presentation.

How to Fish It
Choose tackle rated for the lure's weight and check that the blade and skirt move freely. Start with a short retrieve beside you to find a speed that keeps the blade vibrating. A steady swim is a useful starting point before adding extra rod movement.
Cast along open cover edges or across areas where fish are feeding. Let the jig sink to your chosen depth, then retrieve at a pace that maintains vibration while staying in that zone. Raise the rod tip or increase your speed when you need to bring it higher in the water.
Try a brief pause or a small change in speed, then return to a steady retrieve. In moving water, adjust your casting angle and pace to maintain control rather than letting the current sweep the lure into cover. Watch the line during pauses and reel into pressure before setting the hook.
If the vibration stops or feels different, check for weeds or debris around the blade. Guide the lure through open lanes and avoid assuming it will pass cleanly through every type of cover.
Care and Storage
Rinse after use and let the lure dry before storing it. Inspect the hook point, line tie, and blade connection regularly. Remove debris that could restrict movement, secure the hook in your tackle box, and leave the skirt loose rather than compressed beneath other lures.
