Z-Man DieZel Eye Jigheads 2-Pack

Z-Man DieZel Eye jigheads pair heavy-duty tri-forged hooks with oversized Eye Strike 3D eyes for fishing larger soft plastics for powerful saltwater predators. Twin conical bait keepers help hold the plastic on the shank, and a molded collar accepts EZ Skirts when you want to add a skirt to the presentation.

Choose an available hook size, weight, and color combination to match your bait and conditions. The range includes 6/0 and 8/0 hooks with head weights from 3/8 ounce to 3 ounces. Each pack contains two jigheads.

How to Fish It

Match the hook to the plastic before choosing the head weight. Lay the bait beside the 6/0 or 8/0 hook and check that the bend leaves enough room for the body to compress. Thread it straight onto the shank and carefully seat the nose over the twin conical keepers, leaving the hook gap clear.

For a swimming plastic, begin with a steady retrieve through open water or along a clear edge. Check the bait beside you before making a full cast; correct any twist or bend if it rolls. Adjust the countdown and retrieve pace to work your chosen depth.

Use enough head weight to control the presentation in the depth and current you are fishing. Short, controlled lifts and pauses offer another approach when fish are holding nearer bottom. Match your rod, line, and casting technique to the complete rig's weight, including the plastic, particularly with the heavier heads.

Reel into pressure when you detect a bite and set the hook with controlled force. Check the bait's alignment and your leader after fish or contact with structure. These exposed-hook rigs are not weedless, so choose retrieve paths that keep the point away from dense cover.

Care and Storage

Rinse after saltwater use and let the jigheads dry before storage. Inspect hooks, line ties, and bait keepers for damage, replacing damaged heads. Secure the larger hooks in a suitable tackle compartment and keep weights organized. Store any rigged ElaZtech plastics separately from conventional soft plastics and other incompatible materials.
