Z-MAN FattyZ 5in June Bug 6pk

Z-MAN FattyZ | 5 in | June Bug | ElaZtech Power Worm | Dark Low-Light Color for Texas Rig, Carolina Rig & Flipping Stained-Water Bass | 6-Pack

The Z-MAN FattyZ in 5 in June Bug delivers Z-MAN’s ElaZtech durability in a full-size 5 inch power worm profile at the most trusted dark low-light and stained-water worm color in bass fishing — the dark purple/black with red flake that triggers strikes from stained-water, low-light, and heavy-cover bass across the widest range of power worm applications. June Bug’s dark profile produces maximum silhouette contrast in stained-water environments, heavy vegetation, brush piles, and timber where the bass’ close-range strike decision is based on profile and movement rather than precise color matching. The FattyZ’ 5 inch ElaZtech body provides the large, slow-falling profile that draws the big-worm reaction from the heaviest bass in the lake — the fish that have grown past the finesse presentations and commit to large, heavy-cover power worm applications when the conditions call for June Bug’s dark silhouette stimulus. ElaZtech’s 10X toughness keeps the FattyZ intact through multiple strikes in the heavy-cover power worm fishing applications where June Bug is most productive, and the material’s buoyancy produces the slow, natural fall that large-worm big-bass fishing demands in stained-water heavy-cover environments.

Key Features

• ElaZtech Material — Power Worm Durability & Slow Fall — Z-MAN’s proprietary ElaZtech soft plastic is 10X tougher than conventional power worm materials while remaining supple and buoyant in water; the buoyancy slows the FattyZ’ fall rate in the water column — extending the strike window in heavy cover and producing the slow, deliberate fall that triggers strikes from the largest, most deliberate bass in stained-water heavy-cover environments; ElaZtech’s toughness survives multiple fish per bait across the full power worm session
• FattyZ Profile — Full-Size Power Worm — the 5 inch FattyZ body delivers the large, full-size power worm profile that triggers the big-bass commitment response in heavy-cover Texas rig, Carolina rig, and flipping situations; at 5 inches, the FattyZ is large enough to draw the big-bass reaction from the heaviest stained-water heavy-cover bass and compact enough to be Texas-rigged on standard 3/0–5/0 wide-gap hooks for the penetration that heavy cover demands; the FattyZ’ full body profile combined with ElaZtech’s buoyancy produces the slow-falling, naturally waving large worm presentation that stained-water June Bug heavy-cover bass cannot refuse
• June Bug Color — Maximum Dark Silhouette in Stained Water & Heavy Cover — dark purple/black with red flake; the most trusted low-light and stained-water power worm color in bass fishing; June Bug’s dark profile produces maximum silhouette contrast in the stained-water, low-light, and heavy-vegetation environments where bass are making close-range strike decisions based on the dark profile’s silhouette against the available light; the red flake component’s UV-active properties extend June Bug’s effectiveness in the UV-active diffuse and low-light conditions where dark worm colors produce the most consistent reaction from stained-water and heavy-cover bass
• 5 in — Full Power Worm Size — the foundational FattyZ size for Texas rig, Carolina rig, and flipping/pitching power worm applications; large enough to draw the commitment from the heaviest stained-water heavy-cover bass, compact enough for the hook penetration and weedless rigging that heavy vegetation, brush piles, and timber demand; the 6-pack quantity provides the multi-fish ElaZtech durability across a full power worm session in the heaviest cover

How to Fish It

• Texas Rig — Stained-Water Heavy Cover — the primary FattyZ June Bug application; rig weedless on a 3/0–5/0 wide-gap hook with a 1/4–3/8 oz bullet weight; pitch and flip into heavy vegetation, brush piles, and submerged timber in stained-water reservoirs and natural lakes; June Bug’s dark profile produces maximum silhouette contrast in the stained-water heavy-cover environment where bass are making close-range strike decisions; the ElaZtech buoyancy slows the fall through the cover, extending the strike window in the descent through thick vegetation
• Carolina Rig — Deep Stained-Water Structure — rig on a Carolina leader 18–24 inches behind a 1/2–3/4 oz egg or barrel sinker; drag slowly across mid-depth to deep stained-water structure — secondary points, humps, and bottom transitions in 8–15 feet; June Bug’s dark silhouette produces maximum bottom contrast in stained water at the slow Carolina rig speeds; the ElaZtech buoyancy keeps the FattyZ floating up off the bottom in the leader zone, presenting the dark worm profile above the substrate where stained-water structure bass can see it
• Flipping & Pitching — Heavy Vegetation — rig on a 4/0–5/0 wide-gap hook with a 1/2–3/4 oz tungsten flipping weight; flip and pitch into the thickest matted vegetation, laydowns, and brush pile interiors in stained-water reservoirs; June Bug’s dark profile penetrates heavy cover visually at close range; the ElaZtech’s toughness survives the repeated pitching and hook penetration that high-volume flipping applications demand; the big-bass dark worm color for the angler targeting the heaviest fish in the heaviest stained-water cover
• Shaky Head — Pressure Bass Bottom Finesse — rig on a 1/8–3/16 oz shaky head jig; drag and shake slowly across bottom in 5–15 feet on pressured stained-water lakes and reservoirs; June Bug’s dark profile produces maximum bottom contrast at the short visual distances of shaky head bottom presentations in stained water; the ElaZtech buoyancy keeps the FattyZ tail elevated and waving naturally above the shaky head jig on the bottom

Target Species

Largemouth Bass • Smallmouth Bass • Spotted Bass • Any bass in stained-water, low-light, heavy-cover, and high-pressure power worm situations where maximum dark silhouette at 5 inch ElaZtech power worm scale is the primary trigger.
