Z-Man Finesse ShroomZ Jighead 1/15 oz Green Pumpkin

A Light Mushroom Head for Ned Rigs

The Z-Man Finesse ShroomZ jighead in Green Pumpkin pairs a mushroom-style head with a 1/15 oz weight for light Ned-rig presentations. It is designed to pair with Z-Man ElaZtech soft baits, including Finesse TRD baits.

Use it when you want to slow the fall and work a compact bait deliberately through shallow water. The finished rig's posture depends on the bait you choose and the bottom beneath it, so check your rig in the water before making your first cast.

How to Fish It

Thread a compatible bait straight onto the hook and seat it snugly against the head. Leave the hook point and gap clear, and check that the bait does not twist during the retrieve.

Start with short casts in calm, shallow water. Let the bait settle, then try a slow drag, a small hop, or a swim just above bottom. Add pauses between movements rather than constantly shaking the rod. Watch the line during the fall and reel down before a controlled hookset when a fish takes.

If wind or current makes the light head difficult to track, shorten your cast or choose a heavier head. Check your knot and hook point after working through rocks or other cover.

Care

Dry used jigheads before returning them to your tackle box. Rinse with fresh water after saltwater exposure and dry thoroughly. Secure exposed points during transport and replace hooks that are bent, corroded, or damaged.
