Z-Man Finesse ShroomZ 1/6 oz Ned Rig Jigheads

Z-Man Finesse ShroomZ combine a mushroom-shaped head with a light-wire black nickel hook for light-tackle Ned rig fishing. Each jighead weighs 1/6 ounce and pairs with an appropriately sized finesse plastic for a compact presentation.

A welded wire keeper holds ElaZtech baits on the hook shank without glue. Choose a compatible Finesse TRD, TRD TubeZ, Hula StickZ, or another finesse bait, then rig it straight so the body sits neatly behind the head and the hook gap stays clear. Each pack contains five jigheads.

How to Fish It

Hold your finesse bait beside the jighead to locate the hook's exit point. Thread the body straight onto the hook and carefully seat it over the welded keeper, keeping your fingers clear of the wire and hook point. Leave enough hook gap for a clean hookup.

Cast out, let the rig reach the bottom, and start with a short drag followed by a pause. Use small lifts to move across uneven ground rather than constantly snapping the rod. The bait's resting posture depends on the plastic and how it is rigged.

Adjust your casting angle and pace for depth and current. The 1/6-ounce head is one option, not a guarantee of bottom contact in every situation. If fish are above bottom, try a slow swim with pauses while watching the line for a twitch, sideways movement, or unexpected slack.

Match your rod's rating to the full rig, including the soft plastic. Reel into contact when you detect a bite and use a controlled lift with the light-wire hook. Favor open bottom and clear lanes near cover because the exposed hook can snag.

Care and Storage

Rinse after use and let the jigheads dry before storage. Check the hook points and welded keepers for damage, replacing damaged jigheads. Store with hooks secured. Keep any rigged ElaZtech baits separate from conventional soft plastics and other incompatible materials.
