How to Fish It

Rig on a 1/10–1/6 oz. Ned jig head on light spinning gear with 6–10 lb fluorocarbon. Drag slowly along the bottom or hop along rocky substrate, gravel, and hard bottom structure where gobies are present. The Ned rig is the single most effective goby imitation presentation for smallmouth and largemouth bass in Great Lakes fisheries.
