Z-Man GOAT 3.75" Fire Craw 4-Pack

Fire Craw Color in a 3.75-Inch Bait

The Z-Man GOAT in Fire Craw measures 3.75 inches and comes four baits per pack. Keep it with your soft-bait tackle when you want to try the Fire Craw color without changing the size of your presentation.

Rig a bait before your first cast and check how it moves beside you. A straight body and a properly matched hook give you a useful starting point for experimenting with retrieve speed and depth.

How to Fish It

Choose a hook or jighead that fits the body while leaving enough hook gap. Thread the bait straight and seat it securely. Select the weight for your intended depth, wind, and current rather than adding more than you need.

Start with a slow retrieve, then alternate short lifts and pauses. Try swimming the rig above bottom to cover water, or let it settle beside a target before moving it again. Change one part of the retrieve at a time so you can repeat what draws a bite.

Watch for line movement as the bait falls. Reel down before a controlled hookset, then check the bait's alignment and your knot before casting again.

Storage and Care

Keep the baits in their original packaging, separate from other soft baits, and away from excessive heat. Inspect the rigging area for damage and re-rig if the bait no longer sits securely.
