Z-Man LizardZ 6-Inch Soft Plastic Lizard
The Z-Man LizardZ combines a smooth body, swimming legs, and a curly tail in a familiar 6-inch bass fishing profile. Its buoyant ElaZtech material helps the bait lift off the bottom, giving the appendages room to move on a Texas or Carolina rig.
Soft, salt-impregnated construction provides flexibility along with durability. Work it slowly through a likely holding area or drag it behind a Carolina rig to cover a bottom transition. Each pack contains six baits; hooks and weights are sold separately.

How to Fish It
For a Texas rig, choose a compatible hook with enough gap to clear the body on a strike. Rig the lizard straight and keep the legs and tail free. Add a weight suited to the depth and cover, checking the complete rig against your rod's casting rating. Use short lifts or slow drags, then pause to let the buoyant bait rise relative to the weight.
On a Carolina rig, place the lizard on a compatible hook behind the leader and swivel, with the sinker ahead of the swivel. Adjust leader length and sinker weight for the bottom and conditions. Sweep the rod slowly to move the sinker, reel up slack, and pause before the next sweep.
Watch the line during pauses and pay attention to unexpected movement or added weight. Reel up slack before setting the hook with pressure suited to your hook, line, and cover. Check that the body remains straight after a fish or snag.
ElaZtech Care and Storage
Store the baits in their original packaging, separate from conventional soft plastics and other incompatible materials. Avoid prolonged heat and direct sunlight during storage. Let used baits dry before putting them away, and keep the legs and tail from being folded under other tackle.
