Z-Man Mag ShroomZ Magnum Ned Rig Jigheads
Z-Man Mag ShroomZ jigheads pair a mushroom-shaped head with a beefy 6/0 hook for a magnum Ned rig. Match them with Giant TRD or other appropriately sized larger ElaZtech soft plastics when you want a bigger profile, whether working around docks or dragging offshore ledges.
Choose from 1/8-, 3/16-, and 1/4-ounce head weights. Green Pumpkin and Black are offered across the range, with color availability varying by weight. Each pack contains three jigheads.

How to Fish It
Lay the plastic beside the 6/0 hook to locate the natural exit point. Thread it straight onto the shank, leaving the hook gap clear and avoiding a bowed or bunched body. Check the fit rather than assuming every large plastic suits the hook.
Around docks, cast to clear edges and openings, let the rig settle on a controlled line, then use short drags and pauses. Keep the movements measured so the larger bait has time to work between pulls. Avoid drawing the exposed point into tight branches, cables, or dense vegetation.
Along offshore ledges, choose a head weight that lets you track the rig at the depth and current you are fishing. Drag it in short stages and use gentle lifts to cross changes in the bottom. If wind or depth makes contact difficult, change your casting angle or presentation rather than assuming the available head weights will suit every situation.
Match your tackle to the 6/0 hook and the complete rig's weight, including the larger plastic. Watch for sideways line movement or unexpected slack on the fall. Reel into pressure when you detect a bite, then set the hook with controlled force. Recheck bait alignment after a fish or contact with cover.
Care and Storage
Rinse after use and let the jigheads dry before storage. Inspect hook points and line ties for damage, replacing damaged heads. Secure the larger hooks in a suitable tackle compartment. Store rigged ElaZtech plastics separately from conventional soft plastics and other incompatible materials.
