Z-Man Micro Finesse ShroomZ Jigheads 1/20 oz Red 5-Pack

A Light Head for Small Soft Baits

Z-Man Micro Finesse ShroomZ jigheads in Red give you a 1/20 oz option for small, compatible soft baits. Each pack contains five heads for setting up several rigs or keeping replacements ready when you need to retie.

Start with this light weight in calm, shallow water where you can follow the bait without rushing its fall. Choose a soft bait that fits the hook, then check the finished rig beside you before making your first cast.

How to Fish It

Thread a compatible small soft bait straight onto the hook and seat it snugly against the head. Keep the point and hook gap clear, and correct any bunching or twisting before fishing.

Make a short cast and give the rig time to reach your chosen depth. Try a slow swim, gentle lifts, and pauses, keeping rod movements small enough to let the bait settle. Watch the line during the fall for a twitch or unexpected slack.

Reel down and make a controlled hookset when a fish takes. If wind or current makes the light rig difficult to track, shorten the cast or choose a heavier head. Inspect the knot and hook point after contact with cover, and recheck the bait's alignment after each fish.

Care

Dry used heads before storing them with unused tackle. After saltwater exposure, rinse with fresh water and dry thoroughly. Secure exposed points during transport and replace heads with bent, damaged, or corroded hooks.
