How to Fish It

Choose a soft bait that fits the hook's length and gap. Pass the point through the bait's nose, position the front securely against the head, and align the body before bringing the point back through. Keep the bait straight rather than stretched or bunched.

For a concealed-point presentation around cover, lightly tuck the point into the bait's surface without filling the hook gap. This can reduce contact with obstructions, but does not make the rig snag-proof.
