Z-Man NedlockZ HD Jigheads 1/10 oz Black 5-Pack

1/10 oz Jigheads for Ned-Rig Fishing

Z-Man NedlockZ HD jigheads in Black give you a 1/10 oz option for rigging compatible soft baits. Each pack contains five heads for preparing several rigs or keeping replacements ready when you need to retie.

Choose this weight when it lets you follow the bait at your intended depth without rushing the presentation. Start with a straight rig and small movements, giving the bait time to settle between lifts.

How to Fish It

Match the head to a soft bait that fits the hook while leaving its point and gap clear. Thread the body straight and seat it snugly against the head. Check the finished rig beside you before casting and correct any twisting or bunching.

Let the rig reach your target depth, then try short hops, slow drags, and pauses. Use a slow swim just above bottom if dragging repeatedly catches debris. Watch the line during the fall and pauses for unexpected movement or slack.

When a fish takes, reel down and make a controlled hookset. If wind or current keeps you from tracking the rig, shorten your cast or choose a heavier head. Inspect the hook point, knot, and bait alignment after contact with cover or landing a fish.

Care

Dry used heads before storing them with unused tackle. After saltwater exposure, rinse with fresh water and dry thoroughly. Secure exposed points during transport and replace heads with bent, damaged, or corroded hooks.
