Z-Man NedlockZ HD Jigheads 1/15 oz Black 5-Pack

A Light Head for a Patient Ned-Rig Retrieve

Z-Man NedlockZ HD jigheads in Black offer a 1/15 oz option for your soft-bait rigs. Each pack includes five heads, giving you replacements for reties or enough to prepare several baits before heading out.

Start with this light weight when conditions let you track the rig without rushing it. Give the bait time to sink, then work it with small movements rather than constant rod action.

How to Fish It

Select a soft bait that fits the hook without crowding its gap. Thread it straight onto the hook and seat the nose against the head, leaving the point clear. Check the rig beside you and correct any twisting before casting.

Make a manageable cast, let the rig settle, and begin with a gentle lift followed by a pause. Try a slow drag across a clean bottom or a slow swim above debris. Watch the line as the bait falls, especially for a twitch or slack that arrives sooner than expected.

Reel down before a controlled hookset when a fish takes. If wind or current prevents you from following the rig, shorten your cast or switch to a heavier head. Check the knot, hook point, and bait alignment after each fish or contact with cover.

Care

Let used jigheads dry before returning them to closed tackle storage. Rinse with fresh water after saltwater exposure and dry thoroughly. Secure exposed hook points during transport and replace heads with bent, damaged, or corroded hooks.
