Z-Man NedlockZ HD Jigheads 1/6 oz Black 5-Pack

1/6 oz Jigheads for Your Ned-Rig Setup

Z-Man NedlockZ HD jigheads in Black give you a 1/6 oz option for rigging compatible soft baits. Each pack contains five heads, so you can prepare several rigs before a trip and keep replacements handy for reties.

Choose your head weight around the depth, wind, and current you are fishing. The aim is to stay in touch with the bait while leaving enough slack for it to fall naturally between movements.

How to Fish It

Select a soft bait that fits the hook's length and leaves the gap and point clear. Thread the body straight and bring its nose snugly against the head. Check the rig beside you before casting and correct any twisting or bunching.

Let the bait reach your intended depth, then start with short hops and pauses. Try a slow drag over a clean bottom or swim the rig just above debris. Keep rod movements small, and watch for a line twitch or unexpected slack as the bait settles.

When a fish takes, reel down and use a controlled hookset. If the head repeatedly wedges in the bottom, change your retrieve angle, swim it higher, or try a lighter weight. Recheck the knot, hook point, and bait alignment after each fish or snag.

Care

Dry used jigheads before returning them to closed tackle storage. After saltwater exposure, rinse with fresh water and dry thoroughly. Secure exposed hook points during transport and replace heads with bent, damaged, or corroded hooks.
