Z-Man Pro BulletZ Jigheads 4/0 3/8 oz Black 3-Pack

Pro BulletZ Jigheads with 4/0 Hooks

Z-Man Pro BulletZ jigheads in Black combine a 3/8 oz head weight with a 4/0 hook. Each pack includes three heads for preparing soft-bait rigs or keeping replacements ready for reties.

Check your bait against the hook before rigging. Its body should fit without stretching or filling the hook gap, leaving room for the bait to move away from the point during a hookset.

How to Fish It

Choose a compatible soft bait and align it alongside the hook to plan where the point will exit. Rig the body straight and seat the nose against the head. Check the finished rig in the water beside you and correct any twisting or bunching before casting.

Count the bait down to your intended depth, then try a steady swim with occasional pauses. For a bottom-oriented retrieve, use short lifts and controlled falls over clear ground. Adjust speed and rod angle to keep the rig above debris when needed.

Watch the line on the fall for a twitch or unexpected slack. Reel down before making a controlled hookset when a fish takes. Match the combined weight of the head and bait to your rod's lure rating, and inspect the knot, hook point, and bait alignment after each fish or snag.

Care

Rinse with fresh water after saltwater exposure and dry thoroughly before storage. Keep used, damp heads separate from unused tackle until dry. Secure hook points during transport and replace heads with bent, damaged, or corroded hooks.
