Z-Man Pro CrawZ 3.5" The Deal 3-Pack

Pro CrawZ in The Deal

Z-Man Pro CrawZ in The Deal gives you a 3.5-inch soft craw bait for a compatible hook rig or jig-trailer setup. Each pack contains three baits, so you can prepare a few rigs before heading out and keep a replacement handy.

Fish it with a deliberate pace when you want to spend more time beside a piece of cover. Start with short movements and pauses, then adjust the retrieve to suit the bottom and the response you get.

How to Fish It

For a Texas rig, choose a compatible offset hook that leaves room for the bait's body to move away from the point. Rig the body straight and lightly tuck the point into the surface when working near cover. Select added weight for your depth and conditions, keeping in mind that a concealed point is not snag-proof.

To use as a jig trailer, thread the bait straight onto a compatible jig hook. Leave the hook point clear and the appendages free, then check the combination beside you before casting.

Try a slow drag across clear bottom, short hops, or a pause beside cover. If the rig gathers debris, change your retrieve angle or lift it higher. Watch the line during the fall for a twitch or unexpected slack, and reel down before a controlled hookset. Straighten the bait after each fish or snag.

Care and Storage

Keep unused baits in their original packaging and away from excessive heat. Check the package's storage instructions before mixing with other soft baits. Collect worn pieces and dispose of them responsibly rather than leaving them in the water.
