Z-Man Razor ShadZ 4.5" Breaking Bream 4-Pack

Razor ShadZ in Breaking Bream

Z-Man Razor ShadZ in Breaking Bream gives you a 4.5-inch soft bait for building a compatible jighead or trailer presentation. Each pack contains four baits, so you can prepare several rigs or keep replacements handy during a trip.

Start with a straight rig and a steady retrieve, then experiment with pauses and changes in speed. Check the finished combination in the water beside you before making your first cast.

How to Fish It

Choose a jighead or trailer hook that fits the bait's body without crowding the hook gap. Align the bait alongside the hook to plan the exit point, then thread it straight and seat the nose securely. Leave the hook point clear and correct any bunching or twisting.

For a jighead presentation, let the rig reach your chosen depth and begin a slow swim. Add occasional pauses or gentle lifts, watching the line as the bait falls. Adjust head weight and retrieve speed to follow the depth you want to fish.

When using it as a trailer, check that the bait clears the lure's moving parts and that the combination runs without rolling. Reel down before a controlled hookset when a fish takes, and recheck bait alignment and your knot after each fish or contact with cover.

Care and Storage

Keep unused baits in their original packaging and away from excessive heat. Check the package's storage instructions before mixing with other soft baits. Collect worn pieces and dispose of them responsibly rather than leaving them in the water.
