Z-Man Salty Ned ShrimpZ 2.5-Inch Shrimp Bait
The Z-Man Salty Ned ShrimpZ brings a compact shrimp profile to saltwater Ned rig fishing. Fine legs and antennae respond to small rod movements, while buoyant ElaZtech helps the tail rise when the bait pauses on the bottom.
This 2.5-inch bait gives you a smaller inshore presentation for redfish, seatrout, flounder, and snook. Pair it with a compatible finesse jighead to work slowly along the bottom, using pauses rather than a constant retrieve. Each pack contains six unrigged baits; hooks and jigheads are sold separately.

How to Fish It
Rig the body straight on a compatible finesse jighead, leaving the legs, antennae, and tail free. Match the hook to the small body and choose enough weight to manage the depth and current without exceeding your rod's casting rating. Check the rig beside the boat or bank before making a full cast.
Cast along an open grass edge, sandy pocket, or bottom transition and let the bait settle. Start with a short drag and a pause, then add tiny rod-tip shakes. Give the buoyant tail time to rise rather than constantly pulling the shrimp forward.
When more movement is needed, use a gentle lift followed by a controlled fall. Watch the line during the fall and pauses; if it moves unexpectedly or you feel added weight, reel up slack and set the hook with pressure suited to your hook and line. Check rigging alignment after a bite or contact with cover.
ElaZtech Care and Storage
Keep the baits in their original packaging, separate from conventional soft plastics and other incompatible materials. Avoid prolonged heat and direct sunlight during storage. After saltwater fishing, rinse the rigging hardware with fresh water and let used baits dry before putting them away.
