Z-Man SMH Jigheads 3-Pack

Designed with Brian Latimer to pair with SMH WormZ, Z-Man SMH jigheads help you work a worm along the bottom while encouraging tail movement. A pointed nose, angled eyelet, and recessed hook eye help the head navigate grass, brush, and rock.

Choose from 1/8-, 3/16-, and 1/4-ounce weights to suit the depth and conditions. Green Pumpkin and Black are available across the range, with color selection varying by weight. Each pack contains three jigheads.

How to Fish It

Rig an SMH WormZ straight on the head, checking its alignment and leaving enough hook gap for the bait to compress on a bite. Match your rod and line to the complete rig's casting weight, including the worm.

Let the rig settle on a controlled line, then start with small rod-tip movements and pauses. Keep the head near the same spot while giving the worm time to move rather than constantly hopping it forward. Mix in short drags to explore a stretch of bottom.

Choose a weight that lets you follow the presentation in the wind, depth, and current you are fishing. Around rock, use gentle lifts to ease the head over changes in the bottom. Work along grass edges and through manageable openings in brush instead of forcing the rig through dense cover.

Watch for sideways line movement, a twitch, or unexpected slack during the fall. Reel into contact when you detect a bite, then set the hook with controlled force. Check the worm's position and your line after contact with cover. The head's shape helps it navigate obstacles but does not make it snag-proof.

Care and Storage

Rinse after use and let the jigheads dry before storage. Clear debris from the recessed hook eye and inspect hooks and line ties for damage. Secure hooks in your tackle box. Store rigged ElaZtech worms separately from conventional soft plastics and other incompatible materials.
