Z-Man SMH WormZ 6.5-Inch Shaky Head Worm
The Z-Man SMH WormZ is built for the small movements that make shaky head fishing effective. Designed with Brian Latimer, this 6.5-inch finesse worm has a thin midsection leading to a bulb-shaped tail that responds to subtle rod-tip twitches.
Soft, buoyant ElaZtech helps the tail rise off the bottom when the rig rests. That lets you work a spot slowly without constantly dragging the worm away from it. Each pack contains seven salt-impregnated worms, ready to pair with a compatible SMH Jighead sold separately.

How to Fish It
Rig the worm straight on a compatible shaky head, following the jighead's keeper and hook arrangement. Avoid bunching or stretching the body along the hook, which can restrict the thin midsection and tail. Choose a head weight that maintains bottom contact for the depth and conditions without overpowering your rod's rating.
Cast to a point, bottom transition, or open cover edge and let the rig settle. Use small rod-tip shakes with minimal forward movement, then pause to let the buoyant tail stand up. Work in short moves rather than pulling the worm continuously across the bottom.
Watch the line during the fall and pauses. If it moves unexpectedly or you feel added weight, reel up slack and use a controlled hookset suited to your hook and line. Check the worm's alignment after a fish or contact with cover.
ElaZtech Care and Storage
Keep the worms in their original packaging, separate from conventional soft plastics and other incompatible materials. Avoid prolonged heat and direct sunlight during storage. Let used baits dry before returning them to storage, and avoid leaving them loose against painted tackle or other soft baits.
