Z-Man Trick ShotZ 3.5-Inch Drop Shot Bait
The Z-Man Trick ShotZ gives you a compact minnow, shad, or goby-style profile for finesse bass fishing. Its ribbed body and spade-shaped tail respond to small rod twitches, letting you add movement without constantly pulling a drop shot rig away from the fish.
Soft, buoyant, salt-impregnated ElaZtech helps the bait hold a slightly tail-up position, depending on rigging and conditions. Tear-resistant construction helps it stay on the hook when nose-hooked. Made in the USA, each pack includes six 3.5-inch baits. Hooks and weights are sold separately.

How to Fish It
Use a compatible drop shot hook and nose-hook the bait so the body and tail remain free to move. Tie the hook above the sinker and set the spacing to hold the bait at the height you want to fish. Choose a sinker weight suited to the depth, wind, and current, keeping the complete rig within your rod's casting rating.
Let the sinker settle, then take up enough slack to feel the rig without lifting the weight constantly. Add tiny shakes with the rod tip, followed by pauses. Try holding it nearly still when fish are reluctant, allowing the flexible body and tail to respond to small line movements.
Move the sinker a short distance when you're ready to cover new water, then pause again. If the line moves unexpectedly or you feel added weight, reel into the fish and use a controlled lift suited to the hook rather than a hard snap. Check that the bait hangs straight after each fish.
ElaZtech Care and Storage
Keep the baits in their original packaging, separate from conventional soft plastics and other incompatible materials. Avoid prolonged heat and direct sunlight during storage. Let used baits dry before putting them away, and store the tails straight rather than folded under other tackle.
