Fuji corrosion-control stainless steel guides with Alconite rings complete the guide setup. From the carbon grip to the reel seat, the Z Bone brings its materials into the places you hold while casting, working a bait, and following a bite.

Setup and Fishing Guidance

Pair a casting model with a baitcasting reel or a spinning model with a spinning reel. Match your line and complete lure or rig weight to the ratings marked on the selected rod. Choose power around the presentation, hook size, and cover rather than treating every model as interchangeable.

Start with smooth, controlled casts and adjust your rod movements to the bait you're fishing. Set the drag for your line, knots, and hooks, maintain a controlled rod angle during the fight, and use a landing net instead of lifting fish with the rod.

Care and Storage

Inspect guide rings, wraps, and line before fishing. Wipe the blank, carbon handle, and reel seat clean after use and let the rod dry before storage. After saltwater exposure, gently rinse away salt residue with fresh water. Protect the blank from impacts, avoid high-sticking, and never use the rod to pull a snag free.
